Real Estate News Congress Makes Mortgage Insurance Tax-Deductible in 2007 Congress has passed legislation to allow premiums on private and governmental mortgage insurance to become tax-deductible for qualified borrowers in 2007. For the first time, borrowers who make less than $100,000 a year will be able to write off the full amount of their premiums. The tax break will take effect for new loans in 2007. The write offs are expected to result in average tax savings of between $300 and $350. Click here for more information! Welcome to my New Website!
